In this letter to her soon-to-be husband, Harry S. Truman, Bess Wallace writes about how much she is looking forward to him coming home from serving in France in World War I, their upcoming wedding, their need for a car, a possible job for Harry, and visits from family and friends. She also writes about the military review that Truman participated in before returning home with the Prince of Wales and General John Pershing.
