This paper campaign poster has a colored lithograph of the Grand National Republican Banner. The banner has sketches of John C. Fremont and William L. Dayton inside circular laurel wreaths and says "John C. Fremont, The Republican's Choice for President" and "Wm. L. Dayton, Vice President from 1857 to 1861." Behind the wreaths are: Lady Liberty with staff, four U.S. flags, and an eagle clutching arrows. There is a scene of a man plowing a field at the bottom.
