Description

This aerial photograph, taken on August 14, 1954, shows the town and coastline of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. At the time, Rehoboth was a small beach town surrounded by acres of farm fields. The major road perpendicular to the shoreline in the lower half of the photograph is Rehoboth Avenue.
