The original caption for this photograph reads: Famous cartoonists work for Third Liberty Loan. Photo shows three prominent newspaper cartoonists who "did their bit" for the third Liberty Loan. They are here seen in front of the Liberty Theatre erected in front of the Public Library, New York, by the Stage Women's War Relief Committee. April 1918. They are left to right: Hy Myers, Clare Briggs and "Rube" Goldbery.
