This item is a manifest of the whole cargo on board the brig Poinsett bound from the Port of Boston, Massachusetts, for New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 29, 1862. According to the manifest signed by Charles A. Hill, the Master, the brig carried 269 tons of cargo and a crew of nine men.
