Collector of Customs J. P. Jackson sent this letter to the Secretary of the Treasury transmitting a report in regard to a protest against the unusual delay of Chinese Merchant Soo Hoo Fong at the Port of San Francisco, California.
The letter includes two telegrams from the Secretary of the Treasury and a letter from James R. Dunn, Inspector in Charge of the Chinese Bureau, to the Honorable J. P. Jackson referring to the department telegram regarding Soo Hoo Fong.
