This is a copy of a letter sent by Representative Leonidas E. Wade, of the Florida House of Representatives, to Mrs. Frank Stranahan. Wade wrote that the right to vote is a "God-given right in all free countries," and that "the woman's right to vote is inherent, and she should not be required to arguefy that principle or beg for that which of right belongs to her."
He gives permission to the Florida Equal Suffrage Association to mail a copy of his letter to each Senator and Congressman from Florida, and states "I shall work with you."
