This newsreel shows: a huge crowd in the square listening to speakers, students marching in the street, a woman waving a Hungarian flag from a window, trucks and tanks moving through streets, barricades in the streets, street fighting, damaged Russian tanks and equipment, the Russian star being pulled down from a building, burning of Russian books and flags, dead lying in the street, men running with the wounded while under fire, wounded in the hospital, a burial service, an old woman crying, damaged and wrecked buildings, and Russian tanks returning to the city and driving through streets.
