This is a letter from Herbert Hoover to his Secretary of Commerce, Robert P. Lamont, on how to respond to the request for a meeting of May 15, 1930, by the National Unemployment League. Hoover called the National Unemployment League's actions, "a political move against the Administration. It seems to be an attempt to build up public psychology that we have been doing nothing."
