This document is related to the Bracero Program, a federally sponsored labor program during the 1950s-early 1960's, whereby migrant/migratory laborers from Mexico were provided for seasonal, mostly agricultural employment, often on the farms of California growers. The document provides insight into Hispanic/Latino/Mexican immigration and labor history, including controversies which surfaced during the "farm labor movement" of the years thereafter.
This primary source comes from the General Records of the Department of Labor.
