This photograph shows President Barack Obama being sworn in on January 21, 2013. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office to Obama during the inaugural swearing-in ceremony at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. First Lady Michelle Obama held a Bible that belonged to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Lincoln Bible. Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama also stood with the President as he was sworn in. Members of the crowd include Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Chuck Schumer, David Axelrod, and Marian Robinson.
