On the War Trail by Alex Phimister Proctor was dedicated in 1922 in Denver, Colorado. It depicts the Native American "Big Beaver" (or Jackson Sundown) and his horse Satan. Costing nearly $15,000, it was presented to the City of Denver by by resident Stephen Knight in 1922.
