The original description of this promotional video created by the FBI is: Demonstration in San Francisco against Un-American Activities Committee. Peaceful demonstration turns into riot. Communist war to destroy this nation was called "Operation Abolition." U.S. Communist Party wants House Un-American Activities Committee abolished. Hearings at San Francisco City Hall were disrupted by Student Committee for Civil Liberties and Communist Party members. Some hearing witnesses refuse to cooperate, students are disruptive. Police moved in to restore order only to be confronted by demonstrators. Some are ejected from courtroom, others arrested. Congressmen Francis E. Walter and Gordon H. Scherer, Communist party leader Archie Brown, Communist agent Frank Williams, and Communist Party members Merle Brodsky, Doug Waltner William Mandel and Vincent Holinam speak. Many people are injured and arrested during three days of hearings.
