This is Queen Elizabeth II's recipe for drop scones, enough for sixteen people.

Queen Elizabeth wrote this note after seeing a photo in the newspaper of President Eisenhower barbequing quail. She was reminded that she had promised him her recipe for scones during his visit to Balmoral. The recipe includes castor sugar, an English term for superfine sugar.
