When it became clear that Prohibition was ending, manufacturers of beer, wine, and distilled spirits prepared to produce old favorites and introduce new brands. One reflection of this increased activity can be seen in colorful sample product labels from the trademark registration files for the years 1933–34—just before and after the 18th Amendment was repealed.
