Original Caption states: 16 APR PHOTOG - COL DIVELY MEDICS WAGON LOAD OF BODIES WHICH COULD NOT BE DESTROYED BY THE NAZIS BEFORE THE AMERICANS CAME. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT AT LEAST 5,000 PRISONERS DIED OR WERE KILLED PER MONTH. BUCHENWALD CONCENTRATION CAMP, WEIMAR, GERMANY.
