The Wyandot (or Wyandotte) anti-slavery constitution of Kansas was approved by Kansas voters by referendum on October 4, 1859. In 1860 the Kansas Legislative Assembly submitted this copy of Kansas's fourth constitution to Congress. This became the official constitution of Kansas upon statehood in 1861.
