Telegram from Yuma County Water Users Regarding Shortage of Agricultural Labor

The Yuma County Water Users Association sent this telegram to Commissioner of Immigration Earl G. Harrison, explaining that Mexican laborers were “absolutely necessary to harvest vitally essentially war crops” during World War II because of wartime labor shortages.
