On May 22, 1964, President Johnson traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to speak at the University of Michigan. In his speech Johnson proclaimed his plans for a "Great Society" which "demands an end to poverty and racial injustice..." Only pages 4 and 5 are shown from this document.
