Koki Hirota listens to death sentence read by Sir William Webb (Australia) (not shown), President of the International Military Tribunal for the Far East. Hirota, age 70, was Prime Minister from March 1936, to February 1937 and Foreign Minister under Saito, Okada and Konoye. November 12, 1948.
