Marvin McIntyre, assistant secretary to President Roosevelt, sent this memorandum to Attorney General Cummings. He shares a telegram sent to the White House from the National Scottsboro Herndon Action Committee. In the telegram, the committee asks for an appointment with the President to discuss the Scottsboro case.
