The case file from which this document originates pertains to the arrest and acquittal of Kam Toy, a legal Chinese resident, on charges of prostitution. Kam Toy entered the United States as part of a cultural exhibition in Atlanta. Her entrance into the US was under special Congressional authority. After the failure of the exhibition, she moved to Los Angeles where immigration inspectors arrested her. The Court ruled in her favor.
