In 1842 Margaret Dickisson, widow of Revolutionary War veteran Isaac Dickisson, filed a pension application with the War Department. She received $96 a year based on the documents filed on her behalf, including this illustrated family record. Isaac served in the 4th Jersey Regiment of the New Jersey Line. James W. Dickisson is the first son of Margaret and Isaac.
