This 1856 campaign ribbon says "Fremont & Dayton." In the center is a drawing of a man in miliary uniform on horseback, holding his hat in his right hand with his arm extended. In the background are low mountains, with the word "Pathfinder" superimposed over them. "Free Soil" is printed on the ground beneath the horse's feet. A banner at the bottom says "Free Speech, Free Press." "Fremont" is printed below.
