This is the oath of office for Eliot Ness as a Prohibition Agent.

Eliot Ness, the Treasury Department agent famous for his long-time pursuit of Prohibition-era crime boss Al Capone, signed this Federal oath of office in Chicago, Illinois, on August 26, 1926. Article VI of the Constitution requires an oath of support for the Constitution by Government officials.
