The original caption of this photograph reads: Operation Atlanta–PFC Robert Welling (Danforth, Maine), tunnel rat, Company D, 2nd B[attalion], 27th Infantry, 25th Division, emerges from a tunnel during the search and destroy mission conducted in the Iron Triangle, located 35 miles north of Saigon.
