Benedicte Wrensted photographed these Southeastern Idaho Native Americans. Wrensted was a professional photographer in Denmark before she immigrated to the United States in 1894 and set up a new studio in Pocatello, Idaho. This photo is part of a series of studio portraits of Native Americans dressed in native and Western clothing.
