Original Caption: Newark's populace views parade from high vantage point. With every inch of space taken from which to view the send-off parade of Camp Dix soldiers in Newark, New Jersey, some of the more daring climbed to the top of a flag pole to get a glimpse of the parade. April 27, 1918.
