This map shows the movements of Brig. Gen. Bushrod R. Johnson's troops and Cpt Putnam Darden's Jefferson (Mississippi) Artillery in the battle before Murfreesboro (also known as the Second Battle of Murfreesboro or the Battle of Stones River) on December 31, 1862. This printed map is apparently based on a manuscript map showing the same.
