This statue of Seated Abraham Lincoln by Henry Hering was dedicated in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1935.
The bronze statue depicts the 16th President slumped in a chair with his right hand in a gesture of peace and his head bent slightly forward. Lincoln is depcicted in a morning coat and is seen sitting on his shawl. On the reverse side, there are details such as Lincoln's watch chain on his vest and his stovepipe hat and gloves.
