[typeset] YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to summon
[handwritten] The Board of Metropolitan Police for the Metropolitan District of New Orleans a citizen of the State of Louisiana
[typeset] to appear before the Honorable the Judges of the Fifth Judicial Circuit of the
United States of America, at a Circuit Court to be holden on the first Monday of
[handwritten] July 1870 [typeset] then and there to answer a .......... Bill in
Chancery, filed against [handwritten] it and others [typeset] wherein
[handwritten] The Live Stock Dealers and Butchers Association of New Orleans a corporation of the State of Louisiana of which Paul Esteben is President, and others,
citizens of the State of Louisiana are
[typeset] Complainants, and said [handwritten] Board of Metropolitan Police for the
Metropolitan District of New Orleans and others are [typeset] Defendants.
[typeset] Herein fail not, and have you then and there this writ, with your endorsement
thereon, how you have executed the same.

Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of
