Incorporated in 1920, the Association Against the Prohibition Amendment (A.A.P.A.) was made up of wealthy businessmen who used their considerable resources to repeal the 18th Amendment. This pamphlet argued that prohibition was impossible to enforce and only encouraged disrespect for the law.
