The original caption for this photograph reads: Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. USS Shaw (DD373) lies in drydock YFD-2 after being hit by three bombs which exploded her forward magazine. Part of the drydock at right is under water while while the other side is listing heavily. Both the Shaw and the drydock are now in use.
