The original description provided by the Ford Motor Company reads as follows:
“Looks like a great year for the U.S. See where Prince of Wales is coming over and President Wilson is visiting us now.”
Will Rogers performing on stage with lariat against mural background of wooded scene.
“Bet Bryan would like to get back to this country again.”
Rogers handles two lariats.
“President is here to explain the League of Nations to Congress. You know those guys can’t read anything and understand it.”
Rogers twirls lariat, jumps in and out of loop.
“President is coming out here to California. Hope these Californians will use the good tact to let him speak of the climate first.”
Lariat demonstration repeated.
